Our monthly Sherwood Park program is back! With a special focus on LGBTQ2S+ youth and the adults in their lives, OUTlet is intended to bring people together to find the support and community they need.

Each month, we’ll host a community GSA for youth to meet, mingle, and talk to their peers about the highs and lows of being an LGBTQ2S+ youth in Strathcona County with fun activities and free snacks! We’ll also have a discussion group for the adults in these youths’ lives. Parents, guardians, loved ones, educators – all are welcome. In a separate, judgment-free space, we’ll lead discussions on what it’s like to be an adult in the life of an LGBTQ2S+ youth. We’ll find support, resources, share stories and best practices, and help one another create environments to affirm and enrich the lives of these youth.

Meetings occur monthly at Family Community Services (second floor at Strathcona County Community Centre by Strathcona County Public Library) from 5:30-7:30pm. They are completely free of charge and come with fun snacks!
