The altView Foundation for Gender Variant and Sexual Minorities is pleased to announce that on April 28^th, we will be hosting our first Conference, called the Status of Queer, 2012.  It will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton 7230 Argyll Road, Edmonton.  The objective of this conference is educate all in attendance (be they part of the general public, or organizations serving the public) about where the sexual minority and gender variant community stands right now and where we hope and need to go.  For the not-for-profits in attendance, we will be working on

Since 2008, we have worked within Strathcona County to make a difference for the LGBTQ or Sexual Minority and Gender Variant Community. We offer various programs and tons of fun activities. There are plenty more coming soon too!

Now is the time to get involved.  We already have a great team, but would love to have some more dedicated volunteers, board members and ambitious individuals to make altView even better.
