How to Find Us
The altView group was established as a means to help serve sexual minority and gender variant youth in Strathcona County and surrounding areas. Our moto is : However you identify, you are welcome. The group is the program from which the foundation grew.
The group is run by youth who pick what activities to plan and is guided by volunteer adult facilitators. The group is governed by our code of conduct.
Code of Conduct
Altview is a safe and confidential support group for all persons exploring their sexuality.
We keep our comments appropriate to the conversation and do not discuss personal details disclosed to the group, outside the group.
Personal disputes have no place in Altview. Nor do drugs or alcohol.
As Altview members, we respect each other and the fact that we may have differing opinions. We do not judge or ridicule for any reason.
We understand that while we may not always get along with other members of the group, that they have a right and reason to be here.
We all make mistakes and can learn from them.
We return our environment to the way we found it, or better.
We have our cell phones turned off.
